Appointment Information

Although we do accept sick/emergency walk-in visits, we prefer that our patients make a scheduled appointment to be seen in order to have adequate time to answer all their concerns.

If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule, or perhaps offer you another available appointment. Out of courtesy to our scheduled patients, late arrivals may need to be limited to a 1 problem-based visit.

As a courtesy to others and to our practice, please try to cancel or reschedule your appointments as soon as you learn it is necessary. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee if you fail to call about a missed appointment. Unfortunately, No Shows may prevent a sick child from being seen in a timely manner due to a reserved time slot that was not used.

Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to look over our No Show Policy in our Forms and Policy section.

We accept Sick/Emergency Walk-In visits Monday-Friday, from 9 AM - 12 PM.  We recommend you call to make sure the doctor is in the office at that time and possibly make a 15 minute scheduled appointment, if one is available.   Out of courtesy to our scheduled patients, without an appointment, we must limit our Walk-Ins to a 1 problem visit.

Sick Child Visits

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Well Child Visit

To keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular checkups. We recommend that you call our office 2 week(s) in advance so you may choose the date that best fits your needs.

After Hours

The doctors take emergency calls from their homes after hours. Call the main office number, and our answering service will page a doctor to call you back. Please save routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills) for the morning. We encourage you to refer to our website first, when practical, before calling the office.

If an emergency should arise, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

As a courtesy to others and to our practice, please call at least 24 hours prior to appointment, to cancel and/or reschedule. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee if you fail to call about a missed appointment.

Reminder Calls

All patient's will receive an e-mail the day prior to appointment as a reminder.  In addition, we offer either voicemail or text message reminders too.  During the voicemail message you will have the option to confirm, cancel or reschedule that appointment.  We are hoping to offer this option to text messaging in the future, as well.
